Arcadia's Community Hike @ O'Reillys

This is a great track not far from Gold Coast. Head to the car park near O’Reilly’s Rainforest Retreat to start the walk. Heading out on the Border Track through the lush Gondwana Rainforest before descending on switchback trails to Canungra Creek and the box forest circuit walk.  At the junction with Canungra Creek follow the track to the right as it follows the creek south to Box Log Falls. As you begin the climb out of the valley you’ll pass Elabana Falls and Picnic Rock before retracing your steps back to the car park. Being in a rainforest, the tracks here can be muddy and slippery, so adequate footwear is recommended. Timing your walk here after a good rain will provide you with the best experiences at the falls along the circuit, and outside of the few creek crossings the route is relatively mild.

give yourself plenty of time to drive up the montains and park, we recommend an extra 15 mins on top of your planned travel journey.
