About the Event

❄️ Kalbar Winter Festival — Members Only Weekend

We’re heading off for a gorgeous mid-year girls’ adventure weekend to celebrate winter, support local producers and soak in the countryside charm of the Kalbar Winter Festival during Eat Local Month.

Our weekend begins with a summit hike to Mt Edward, a scenic 6 km return trail with approx. 550 m elevation and a little bit of friendly scrambling. We’ll take our time, enjoy views across the Scenic Rim, and share a morning snack at the top before making our way down and rolling straight into festival tastings and celebrations.

Set in Kalbar, a stunning small country town surrounded by fertile paddocks and family farms, the festival showcases the very best of our region. Expect artisan food, grower stalls, farm showcases, workshops, demos, winter festivities and true countryside hospitality ,all while meeting the makers behind what we eat.

This is a members-only event, intentionally intimate and designed with that warm, fun girls-weekend vibe, blending nature adventure, good food, local culture and a little cowboy flair (because yes, there may be line dancing later 🤠).
