Bunya Mountains National Park → Carnarvon Gorge National Park, QLD
Transport by private mini bus (Roma Airport optional return – not included)
This is a carefully curated, small-group outback journey designed for safety, connection, and deep immersion in two of Queensland’s most extraordinary landscapes.
Traveling by private mini bus with qualified staff, we journey inland from the coast, beginning in the ancient Bunya Mountains before continuing west to the dramatic sandstone gorges of Carnarvon.
Each day is intentionally paced to balance guided hiking, rest, reflection, and connection, allowing space to truly experience these powerful places.
Day 1 — Bunya Mountains National Park
After travelling inland, we arrive at Bunya Mountains National Park. Guests will stop along the way to purchase their own lunch for the day.
After lunch, guests set up camp before heading out on our first walk:Barker Creek Circuit (10km) — a scenic loop through rainforest, open woodland, and the world’s largest natural stand of Bunya Pines.
Dinner is fully catered and shared together at camp.
Accommodation:
Members bring their own tent
Non-members are provided with a tent for the entire trip
Guests are responsible for setting up and packing down their own tents, with staff support available
Day 2 — Travel to Carnarvon Gorge
After a catered breakfast, we pack up camp and begin our journey west toward Carnarvon Gorge.
Guests will purchase their own lunch along the way during travel stops.
Dinner is fully catered upon arrival at camp.
Days 3 to 5 — Carnarvon Gorge National Park
Over the following days, we explore the iconic walking tracks of Carnarvon Gorge National Park.
Guided walks include:
Boolimba Bluff (7.6km)
Moss Garden
Mickey’s Creek
Cathedral Cave
Art Gallery
The Amphitheatre
Breakfasts and dinners are catered
Lunches are catered during these days in the gorge
Each day is paced to allow time for rest, connection, and immersion in this ancient landscape.
Final Day — Return Journey
On the final day:
Breakfast is catered
Guests will purchase their own lunch along the way
Dinner is not included
We return to the coast by private mini bus via Brisbane and the Gold Coast.
Guests may alternatively choose to fly from Roma Airport to their chosen destination (not included).
