Join Arcadia Women Adventures for a challenging and rewarding 6km Hike Club summit hike up Mount Maroon, one of the Scenic Rim’s most iconic climbs.

This hike involves a steady ascent with rocky sections and hands-on scrambling in parts, offering panoramic views from the summit and a deep sense of accomplishment. We’ll move at a supportive pace, taking breaks as needed and encouraging one another along the way.

This experience is best suited for those comfortable with moderate-to-challenging hikes and looking to build confidence, strength, and connection in a supportive group setting.

🎒 What to Bring

• Sturdy hiking shoes with excellent grip (rocky and steep sections)

• Day backpack

• 2–3L water minimum

• High-energy snacks and/or packed lunch

• Weather protection: hat, sunscreen, rain jacket

• Warm layer (conditions can change quickly)

• Comfortable hiking clothing suitable for scrambling

• Personal first-aid essentials (including blister care)

• Head torch (recommended in case of delays)

• Trekking poles (optional, but helpful for descent)

• Phone fully charged (offline maps recommended)
