Adventure Overview
Hike Overview:
Northbrook Gorge, located in D'Aguilar National Park, is a breathtaking 6km return trail featuring multiple creek crossings, lush rainforest, and stunning rock formations. The hike involves wading through water ( waist hight and deeper), swimming in rock pools, and navigating rocky terrain.
Expect waist-to-neck-high water in sections. This adventure is a true immersion in nature, perfect for hot days!
🎒 Difficulty: Moderate – multiple creek crossings, some rock scrambling, and waist-to-neck deep water sections.
🎒 What to Bring
✔️ Dry bags for your phone & valuables
✔️ Hiking outfit (quick-dry activewear recommended)
✔️ Hiking snacks & lunch
✔️ At least 2L of water
✔️ Weather protection (hat, sunscreen, rain jacket if needed)
✔️ Waterproof sandals with greapy soles or greapy shoes (for creek crossings – no bare feet)
✔️ Towel & spare clothes (to change into after the hike)
