This event nurture your wild women and empower your spirit! from hiking to a rejuvenating waterfall and surrounded to a wild swim amongst a wonderful bunch of like minded women, to breathwork,nature meditation, wild cooking on the campfire,an empowering photoshoot to a wild women dance party in the wooden shed amongst the forest.

Who Are Arcadia Women Adventures?

Our mission is to encourage women to be inspired and empowered by adventure and connecting to the great outdoors. Our focus is to introduce you to something different, to new landscapes, new adventures, to connect with like-minded community and to have fun, with a positive vibe. Hiking allows a sense of exploration, both with yourself and the natural world around you. It gives you an opportunity to step out of your comfort zone and to know yourself on a new level.

ACCOMDATION

Located near the beautiful Everglades , we will be in awe together by this camping under the stars experience.

Right on the side off the river, the camping site is located at walking distance from the sand dunes ( day 2 activity)

You will be provided with a two people tent , sharing the cosy setting with an other like minded women.

The aim of this experience is to be hands on adventures, you will be required to set up your camp.

HIKING & KAYAKING

The main focus of the weekend, is a wonderful few days of kayaking  on this prestine River in the gorgeous Noosa Everglade National Park..

The Noosa River is a very tranquil river, making our journey to camp and surroundings a mindful and serene experience amongst the save space of Arcadia women adventures

HIKE 

​

On day 2 we will pack our little pack hiking lunch and explore.  the dunes nearby our camp.

​

YOGA & BREATHWORK 

Karina is a passionate yoga teacher. The practice will suit everybody and will help you to cultivate a sense of connection to yourself, each other and the land we practice upon.

 

BREATHWORK 

​

Tatiana is a Certified Breathwork Instructor, he will lead us to some breath work, to help understand our bodies better and challenge us to a Wild swim.

HEALTHY HEARTY FOOD
 

All  camping style meals will be provided for your stay with us. Including tea and coffee, snacks, breakfast, lunch and dinner. In keeping with our culture, all meals prepared and served will be vegetarian. We will cater for dietary requirements but please be aware we will be in a wilderness environment making the  dietary  requirement task a little more difficult, if its not a mandatory request please follow the crew menu made with love.

CREATIVE WORKSHOP

A wonderful nature inspired watercolour will be lead by Tatiana if you wish to be a create bean.

Hidden within the Cooloola section of the Great Sandy National Park is one of the Sunshine Coast’s best kept paddling secrets, the Noosa Everglades. Best explored by canoe or kayak, the upper reaches of the Noosa River and the Everglades represent an ancient waterway that has existed unchanged for thousands of years. Kanu Kapers Noosa Everglades kayak tours take you into the heart of this spectacular wilderness.

 

The Noosa Everglades are situated within Noosa Biosphere, Queensland’s first UNESCO Biosphere promoting harmony between people and nature through education, conservation and sustainable activities. The Noosa Biosphere Reserve encompasses 150,000 hectares of land and sea in which you can investigate the diversity of our eco-systems and culture. A wetland of international importance, it is the only river system in Australia that has its entire upper catchment protected in National Park.

This remarkable adventure offers a chance to visit secluded locations by kayak and truly experience the natural beauty and wildlife in a relaxed quiet setting, only 25 minutes North of Noosa on the Sunshine Coast. Your truly sustainable kayak expedition takes you into the remote wilderness of the Cooloola section of the Great Sandy National Park. Camp beside the pristine Upper Noosa River and experience the vastness of the Cooloola Sand patch. Walk a 3 hour return hike encompassing 360 views of the Noosa area.

The adventure weekend will include a two people kayak, share tent & camping mattress, mindfulness activities such as yoga practice, water colours workshop nature inspired, hike to the sand dunes  wild swim and healthy hearty vegetarian camping meals made with love. 

​

Together we will find our sense of adventure, while meeting like minded women in a natural, pristine outdoor setting.

Noosa Everglades Kayak and Canoe Hire, Expedition Sea Kayak, Kayaking and Safety Equipment, 30lt esky, dry bag, camping gear, Map and Land mark Orientation, Professional Tuition and an unforgettable experience!


Highlights: Mill Point, Kinaba Information Centre, Noosa Everglades, Kin Kin Creek, Harry’s Hut. Camping in the Great Sandy National Park beside the upper Noosa River, swim in the tannin coloured waters, explore at your own pace and experience the regions amazing flora and fauna. Enjoy your beverage of choice on your private jetty as you marvel at the stars as they are reflected in the river.

Itinerary: Meet at Elanda Point canoe launching area’s car park. On arrival you are given your equipment for the day, then down to the launch site and we settle you into your kayak, showing you the map and teaching you all the basic skills for an enjoyable paddle adventure throughout the vast Noosa Everglades.


Day One: Pack, paddle and set up camp then relax, explore and enjoy the serenity!


Day Two: Paddle, walk and be awed by the Cooloola Sand Patch before returning to camp for a yoga practice and a night under the stars.


Day Three: start your day  with a mindful yoga practice followed with a Breathwork and wild swim ,  Be mystified at every bend as you make your return journey to Elanda Point.

What to Bring and Wear
• Water bottle and Water (2 litres/person/day – 2 x 5lt water casks( has bladders) available from supermarket is the most suitable)
• Wear shoes that can get wet – flip flops are fine
• Sun smart clothing (Rashie & board shorts- swim wear)
• Sunscreen, hat and sunglasses
• Insect Repellent
• Clothes – Shorts, T shirts, long pants, warm jumper, thermal underwear, beanie- depending on weather
• Shoes & socks for walking
• Small day pack for the walk
• Wind proof jacket/rain coat
• Sleeping Bag, sheets & small pillow
• Torch & lots of spare batteries
• Change of clothes and shoes to return home & towel
• Camera & mobile phone
• A sense of adventure & fun

What camping equipment we supply:
• 3 person tent
• Stove- has x2 small pots and small fry pan ( we will take care of the cook up)
• Sleeping Mat (similar to a yoga mat)
• Plates/bowls/mugs/ cutlery/ tongs
• Esky (cooler box) – frozen blocks and ice not included ( to carry everyone food provided by us)
• Dry bags
• Washing up equipment
• Sleeping bags are $10.00 to hire if needed.
